March Madness!

March, que paso?!!

Can't believe it's almost over. This year is already flying by. And once again, I've put off updating this blog. So here's an update of what March has brought our family- it's been a busy month.

First of all, let it be known, we did basketball brackets this season- and all of us are out of the runnings besides Greg- Who guessed 2 of the 4 finalists! Thats my man. Kansas and Ohio- with Kansas going all the way... or was it kentucky? It's hard for me to keep track, but what I do know is that his team could still take it!

 

We'd like to welcome Haze Charles to our family! He's a lil package of cute manchild ;) We love him so much already. He's blessed with 2 older brothers who are so sweet and a bucketload of cousins, including Asher- who was excited to have a cousin thats younger than he is. Watch out Asher, there's a new baby in town :D

Haze was born on leap day, so he won't be able to date or drive until he's 64. Sorry kiddo.

We sold our HUGE entertainment center and bought one that fits our family room better- we put that sucka together ourselves. Conquered.

I freakin love this picture of Asher. His name means "blessed or happy one" and he lives up to it. We're so happy to have him as a part of our lives. We love you lil Megamind!!!

My friend Chelsea cut my hair and this was a day I actually did something with it- wha??? I know, I was surprised too. Thanks Chels!! It's nice to have healthy hair again.

One of the funnest baby showers I've been to, We tie dyed onesies and other baby items for the beautiful and boa-ed Abbie Long, a friend from Elementary School.

My mission comp Nellie got married a week before Greg and I and had her baby a month after us! Here is the styling lil Clara June. Asher's future ex-girlfriend ;) he's a player.

Hand me downs are the BEST!! Thanks again to my sis-in-law Andrea, for an awesome framed baby carrier. We are officially ready for a Zions trip.

My Uncle Ward came into town- he moved to Idaho and now we'll be seeing more of him, hopefully!

Asher finally graduated from his crib! Thanks to the Snyders for the awesome deal. We love it, so does Asher!

Asher LOVED swimming- especially when his daddy blew bubbles underwater. He laughed so hard and then tried to splash Greg back. They were both soaked and exhausted by the end of it!

Brikaeli at 27 weeks prego in Long Beach! She grew a ton while we were on our trip- it's crazy. Can't wait to meet her.

At Kings Fish House in Long Beach with Katie, who was baptized while I was serving in Huntington Beach, and her mom, Patricia, and her hubby Ryan. LOVED seeing them all again. It was even worth the smell of sea food to be able to catch up :D

Photo Shoot, Asher! We cuddled and took pics- I love my lil boy, he has so much personality and I am so grateful that I get to spend my days taking care of him and getting to know him!

In March, Asher perfected his knee crawling technique. He's a crazy mover now. The other day I went to the bathroom and in two seconds heard him pull the guitar down on to his head. He loves that guitar and I think cried more out of betrayal than anything else.

Another month and we're still living at my parents. But at least we're in good company, with my sisters Meagan and Ellie living on the top floor. Asher's onesie, if you can't read it, says,

"I still live with my parents"

How embarrassing. =)
